Welcome to beautiful Rangeley, Maine & The Loon Lodge. Situated on Rangeley Lake, the view is breath taking. Sunsets are spectacular from the deck. If you're lucky, you may see a deer and her fawn meandering across the front lawn. A bear or two have been spotted in the woods. In the evening, the sounds of loons make this spot a true gem. Enjoy your favorite beverages on the deck over looking the water when the weather is right and when the chill of winter arrives, snuggle up in front of one of the many fireplaces with the crackling fire that warms you.
Situated on Rangeley Lake it offers a panoramic view of the unspoiled mountains and lake. During the summer of 2001 it under went an historical renovation to it bring back to it's former rustic charm. The lodge was built in 1909 as a private residence on the original Pickford Camps property.
Sit back and relax on our deck. Listen to the loons call in the background or perhaps you may even see an eagle perched on a nearby tree stalking its prey. Or just sip on you favorite cocktail while reading a book. Our living room is the perfect spot to kick back and relax while watching the fire dance and crackle and warm your chilled bones.

Additional information
The rooms at The Loon Lodge reflect the casual feeling of the lodge as it was in 1909. Names like the Saddleback, Slalom & Alpine grace the doors in hand carved wooden plaques from the 50's. Lovely rustic interiors trappings make each room comfortable, hospitable, and unpretentious.
