Steps lead to the waterfront with a large dock, and floating dock. The water is clear and clean. Trees surround the shore and give the impression that one is in a nature reserve. The lake bottom is sandy by the shoreline and the water is shallow: ideal for children. The water becomes deep enough to dive at the end of the long dock. Paddleboat, canoe, kayak, wind surfer, and paddleboat, six life jackets and water toys. Walk around the ring road or go off on hiking trails.
A large grassy area surrounds the cottage with space for ample wicker lawn furniture set with cushions. Fire pit with chairs and a volley-ball/badminton net.
Children's exterior play area with slide, swings, tree-fort, kiddy picnic table & chairs. Large trees provide privacy from the lake and the road. There is ample parking for four vehicles.
